Crisp, Fall Weather

It is my favorite season...Autumn with all of it's bright foliage, blazing color, and crisp cool air. Plus festivals, bon fires, and football.

October brings our first Holiday Camp of the year.
"Crazy about Candy Corn."  Candy corn is one unique treat, so we decided to plan a whole day to enjoy it!
Monday, September 30th by 6:00pm is the last day to add your name or withdraw from the camp.

In our classes we will be focused on the harvest season. We will explore God's bountiful garden by enjoying special fall foods, stories, and crafts.  We will learn about reaping a harvest.  In the book of 2 Corinthians chapter 9 verses 6-12 we learn about being generous.
"Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly".  We want to learn to share our blessings and be a cheerful giver.

Our bible words this month are from      2 Peter 3:18
"You must grow in knowing about Jesus, our Lord."  If any of our staff can be of encouragement to your family in how to share the bible with your child please let us know.

October 4th Star Glazers Pottery with Miss Ann will be here to paint a pumpkin plaque with our students.  There are only 3 spots left. Your account will be billed for the class fee after October 2 if your are on the sign-up.  This project has been extremely popular. Thanks for your interest!

October Chapel will be held Thursday, October 17th from 4:45pm - 5:15pm.
I will be talking about growing seeds and how it cultivates responsibility.
4th - 6th grades will be our Chapel presenters that day. I wonder what they will
share with us??? Every month in Chapel we recognize birthdays with a special
Landing birthday pencil and there is usually a fun take away favor.
