We have been so blessed with your children this summer!
Their positive attitudes and good behavior have all been praised by the many people and places we have visited this summer. Thank you for instilling these traits in your homes.
This week of VBS has brought a chance to learn new songs, meet new friends and learn more about our Missionary John and Zandra Dye. I did a brief "how was your first day meeting" yesterday and all the kids were able to answer any question I asked them about VBS! They were really paying attention in all their classes and seemed to be enjoying the whole experience.
This is summer moving by at a rapid pace. We only have a few short weeks left together.
There is still much fun to be had and many places to go! You know how it is... we save the best for last! We have trips planned to COCO Key, Lazer Kraze, and COSI for the majority of our classes. You won't want to miss a day at The Landing.
Parents are invited to our Closing Day Picnic on Friday, August 16th. We will begin at 11:30 with a pizza lunch. We will have a brief song time of some of their favorite Chapel songs, give out some reading awards, and end with a visit to the Kona Ice truck! We invite you to share in this fun time!
Program Evaluations will be available the last week of Camp. We welcome your feedback and comments regarding your summer experience.
If you need extend your Landing school age care, don't forget we have before and after school openings in all classes. Please stop by the front desk if you have questions or wish to enroll.
Thank you again for making The Landing your summer camp destination! We look forward to seeing many of you in the Fall and we will see our Summer only friends next year!
The Landing will be open for Fall back to school hours on Wednesday, August 21st. This includes Kindergarten Phase-in days. Details will be mailed in a separate letter.
