Back to School Season
We are getting prepared and excited!
We've got a blank slate in which to start again. I truly don't know how those in the corporate world make it. I think it is wonderful to have a new beginning every August. It's a chance to grow from last year's experiences and pitfalls, and a new opportunity to touch the lives of children.
New schedules. New routines. New faces. New opportunities. It's a new season. I hope you have a GREAT start to your school year. Stop in and tell me how I can help you get settled in at The Landing, if you are needing some suggestions.
Some anxiety also goes along with this excitement. You must support your student by taking an interest in every detail of the first few weeks of school. Breakfast is an important part of a good start to the day. We have a Breakfast Room available here to help meet that need. Milk provided.
Book bags are extremely important to your student. Be sure to check it nightly to ensure it contains gym clothes, homework assignments, permission slips, and show and tell items before bedtime. Keeps everyone on track.
Every family has an after school routine. We are proud that you have entrusted us to make sure your child has some time to play, relax, do homework, enroll in electives, and build self-esteem. Our loving, nurturing , caring, and fun staff guarantee a safe "landing" place for your student. We exist to strengthen families.
