December News
December is here and it our favorite time of year here at the Landing. We are looking forward to celebrating the birth of Jesus and sharing this with your children. As fall turns into winter please be sure to send your children in weather appropriate clothing, we will still go outside when possible. Below you will find some important reminders for this month.
  • Be sure LIKE us on our Facebook page to receive updates and news.
  • A letter regarding our snow day policy and inclement weather was sent earlier in November, if you would like another copy please contact Sara.
  • Snow Days: The Landing will be open 8 am-5 pm, be sure to check the Weekday website at www.weekdayministries.org
  • School Delays: If school is delayed your child/children will remain at the Landing until the bus arrives and your account will be billed the additional time, regardless of your child's attendance. If your child is NOT registered for morning care you MUST fill out and return the delay day sign up form which was in the letter sent in November.
  • Classroom Wish List: Each classroom will have a wish list posted beginning Monday, December 5 of items the classroom would like for Christmas if you would like to make a donation. Please see Sara if you have any questions.
  • December Chapel: Chapel will be on Thursday, December 15 at 4:45 in the basement, please join us.
  • Winter Electives: Each winter the Landing offers special winter electives. Sign up sheets will be posted beginning December 5. This year Ann from Starglazers will be coming in January and we will also be offering a 6 week class from Bricks 4 Kidz. More details will follow.
  • CLOSINGS: The Landing will be CLOSED Friday, December 23 - Friday, December 30. Have a safe Christmas Break.
  • Holiday Camps: The Landing will be open for Holiday Camps on teh following days: 12/21, 12/22, 1/2, and 1/3. If you have not signed your child up but would like him/her to attend, please contact Sara, limited space is still available.
  • Registration: Registration will begin in January for 2012-2013. Keep an eye out after the Christmas break for more details.

Christ's Church at Mason

Christ's Church at Mason has so much to offer this Christmas season, be sure to join us.

  • 10th Annual Christmas Pageant, December 7-11: Tickets are FREE. Stop by the church office to pick up your Tickets to this year's pageant "It's Christmas Once Again".
  • Christmas Eve Services: CCM will be offering 3 Christmas Eve SErvices, 5:00, 9:00, and 11:00. The 5:00 service will be a family service
  • Christmas Day: CCM will be offering 2 services Christmas Day, 9:30 and 11:00. Please join us for this special celebration of Christ's birth.
  • LYD meets December 7 and 21 this month. On December 14 LYD will have their Christmas Party. Contact Amanda Grella if you have any questions at amanda.grella@ccmason.org
  • Ladies Winter Bible Studies begin January. Pick up a copy of the EXPLORE across from the Landing office for more details or contact Kay Moll at kay.moll@ccmason.org
