February News
Brrrrrrrrrrr. I don't know about you but it seems winter just started and I am already ready for spring with all the cold days we've had lately. Happy Valentines Day to everyone. Make sure to read below for some important information and reminders.
  • The Landing is CLOSED on Monday, February 21 for President's Day.
  • February Special Elective: Art classes with Miss Charis. This elective will meet every Thursday in February, cost is $5. Sign up deadline is Monday, January 31.
  • Please remember to call the office at 229-5405 if your child will be absent.
  • We will be open on Snow Days from 8am-5pm. Be sure to check our website, www.weekdayministries.org, CCM's website, www.ccmason.org, or call the office at 229-5405 for updates on snow days.
  • Chapel will be held on Thursday, February 24 at 4:45 in the basement.
  • February's outreach is for the Mason Food Pantry. We are asking for non-perishable food to be donated outside the preschool office.
  • Hand Sanitizer: If you have hand sanitizer attached to your child's bag, please make sure to have it IN your child's backpack rather than on the outside. Because we are licensed by the ODJFS, sanitizer can not be readily available to students. If you have any questions please feel free to let me know.

2011-2012 Registration
  • Registration dates: CCM Members - January 23rd, Current Landing Families - January 24th, Alumni Families (previously attended MCP or the Landing) - January 31, Open Registration - February 7.
  • Registration is for Summer 2011 and the 2011-2012 School Year.
  • Registration information and forms will be available January 3rd outside the Landing office. Forms will NOT be accepted until the dates mentioned above.
  • You MUST turn in the completed forms and registration fees in a sealed envelope to the Landing office.

Christ's Church at Mason

  • LYD (Leading You Deeper) for 5th/6th grade meets every Wednesday afterschool. Contact Amanda Grella at amanda.grella@ccmason.org for more information.
  • 1234 I Declare a Nerf War! 5th and 6th grade boys and girls enjoy a nerf war on February 11th (boys) and February 25 (girls). Check out www.ccmason.org for more information and to sign up.
  • Superstart!! For students in 4th, 5th, and 6th grades. This is a weekend designed specifically to speak to students from their perspective. Contact Amanda Grella for more information and to register at amanda.grella@ccmason.org.
  • Out Live Your Life - Book study for Men...contact Max Boothby for more information at max.boothby@ccmason.org
  • Anita Renfroe at CCM - Thursday, February 10 at 7 pm. Tickets $20 available at the church office or $25 at the door.
