As I look out my window today the saying "April showers bring May flowers." seems to be very true. We have been so blessed to have had so many nice days the last few weeks and get out to enjoy the playground and new basketball area.
As we enter the last full month of the school year here are a few reminders:
- Please make sure to park your car in a parking space. Do not park in the fire lane.
- When your child/children are outside playing, be sure to go to the playground to pick up your child and check them out inside.
- We are still registering new students for Summer 2010 and the upcoming 2010-2011 School Year. Stop by the office or visit www.weekdayministries.org for more information.
- The Landing will be CLOSED Monday, May 31 for Memorial Day.
- The last day of the school year will be Wednesday, June 9. We will be CLOSED Thursday and Friday, June 10-11 for summer set up.
Summer 2010
Parent Orientation for the Summer 2010 Landing Program will be on Monday, May 24 at 6:30 pm in the gym. Orientation is REQUIRED for all NEW families and is strongly recommended for returning families. Please RSVP to the office no later than Monday, May 10.

Good Bye Miss Jessica! Miss Jessica will be adopting a baby due in May and is stepping down at the 3rd-6th grade Children's Director at Christ's Church at Mason. We had our last Chapel with Miss Jessica on April 22. We appreciate all she has done over the past years and she will be missed! Amanda Grella will be taking on Kindergarten through 6th Grade and Katie Thompson will be the new Birth through Pre-K Children's Director. Our own Wendy Rote, Weekday Director, will be taking on some responsibilities with helping the 2 Children's Directors as well.
LYD - The last LYD session for the school year will be on May 26.
Vacation Bible School - VBS will be July 19-23 this year. Sign ups begin on May 2! Go to www.ccmason.org to register.
MAD Camp - Music, Art, and Drama Camp will be held June 21-25. Visit www.ccmason.org for more information and to register. Brochures are available across from the Landing Office.
Family Sundae Night - June 6 from 6:30-7:00 pm. Bring your favorite ice cream topping to share.
