October News

Fall is officially here. Everyone has settled nicely into the school year here at the Landing. Please make sure your child is dressed for the weather is it begins to get cooler. Our teachers will try to take the students outside if the sun is shining, even if it is a little chilly. The Holiday Camp Sign up Book can be found on the table across from the office. There is 1 major change this year, we MUST have a minimum of 25 kids signed up in order to be open. Sign ups will CLOSE 2 weeks prior to the camp date. If you have any questions please feel free to email me or stop by the office. This month we are asking for socks, t-shirts, and underwear for the Hamilton Christian Family Center. Donations can be made downstairs in the bin across from the preschool office.

Important Reminders

• Please make sure to park in a parking space and drive slowly through the parking lot. We have many events being held daily in the church building along with the weekday programs. Please do not park in the fire lane at any time.
• Please call 513-229-5405 (the main office number) to report any absences. If your child is scheduled to be here in the afternoons, but does not get off the bus we will call you. Our number comes across as unavailable.
• If someone other than yourself will be picking up your child you MUST call the office. We will ask for ID at the desk and call you if we have not been notified in advance. If someone else will be picking your child up long term there is a form at the office you can fill out.
• Chapel is on Thursday October 22nd at 4:45. Jessica Lyon will be our guest speaker this month.
• If you need to leave a form and no one is at the office, please either hang on to the form until someone returns or put it in the payment box.
• You MUST go to your child and pick him/her up. Please do not ask the teachers to have your child sent up to the classroom if he/she is either outside or in the gym.
• Please make sure to keep your information updated with us. If you have a change in phone number, addresss, emergency contact, etc. please inform the front office as soon as possible.

Hayride at Mary Jane's Farm - October 16th from 5pm-10pm. Cost is $5 per person and you can sign up online at http://www.ccmason.org/

Fall Fest Respite Event - October 23rd from 6:30-9:30pm. Parents night out for individuals with special needs and their sibblings. You can sign up online and if you have any questions please contact Amanda Grella at amanda.grella@ccmason.org

Trunk N' Treat - Saturday October 31st from 4-5. Parents come set up your cars beginning at 3:30 and the trunk-n-treating will begin at 4. No scary costumes please.

Christ's Church at Mason offers 4 Sunday morning services; a Blended Service at 9:30 in the main auditorium, a Traditional Service at 11:00 in the Chapel, and 2 Contemporary Services at 9:30 (gym) and 11:00 (auditorium).
