March News

First let me say how happy I am to be back. I have missed your children dearly and can't wait to get back into a routine. I am coming back to work part time for a while and will return to my normal office hours beginning on April 13th. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. If I am not in please leave a message and I will get back to you as soon as possible. My hours will be available at the office if you need to come in to see me. Second, a huge Thank-you to Pam Phipps for stepping up while I was gone. She has done a great job of keeping things running smoothly while I was away. March's special elective is a Pottery Class with Ann from Starglazers. Ann will be here on Thursday March 19th if you signed your child up. I have posted a sign on the Landing Door for the times each grade will create their pottery. Times are also available at the office. This month your children will be studying the theme "God's Wonderful Promise". The Bible story this month is Jesus Calms the Storm from Mark 4:35-41.

Please make sure to drive carefully in our parking lot. Many parents and children come and go in the morning as well as people in and out of the church. Please abide by the speed limit and watch out for pedistrians. Thanks!

Important Reminders

• Please call 513-229-5405 (the main office number) to report any absences.
• If someone other than yourself will be picking up your child you MUST call the office. We will ask for ID at the desk and call you if we have not been notified in advance. If someone else will be picking your child up long term there is a form at the office you can fill out.
• The Landing will be CLOSED on Friday April 10th for Good Friday.
• The last set of Holiday Camps are for Spring Break, April 13-17. Sign up deadlines are March 30-April 3, respectively for each day. If we do NOT have 20 children signed up per camp, the Landing will be CLOSED. Please keep an eye out on the parent board for information as the dates get closer.
• Chapel is Thursday March 26th at 4:45 in the basement. Our guest speaker this month will be Brad Wilson.
• If you need to leave a form and no one is at the office, please either hang on to the form until someone returns or put it in the payment box.
• Please make sure to keep your information updated with us. If you have a change in phone number, addresss, emergency contact, etc. please inform the front office as soon as possible.

Registration Information

Open Registration is now in progress. Our classes are filling up quickly. Please check the website, http://www.weekdayministries.org/ for Registration Updates. If you have any questions regarding registration please call 513-229-5405.

Upcoming Events

The theme for the Hamilton Christian Family Center is Easter. We are looking for items to create Easter Baskets (grass, eggs, etc.) If you would like to make a donation, please drop it off downstairs with Marilyn in the Preschool Office.

LYD will be held on Wednesday March 18th and Wednesday March 25th from 3-5 pm in Room 217.

Super Start is coming to Cincinnati on April 24-25! This is an event for 4th thru 6th graders. Cost is $65 and the sign up deadline is 3/20/09. Contact Jessica Lyon at 229-3203 or jessica.lyon@ccmason.org for more information.

Christ's Church at Mason

Christ's Church at Mason offers 4 Sunday morning services; a Blended Service at 9:30 in the main auditorium, a Traditional Service at 11:00 in the Chapel, and 2 Contemporary Services at 9:30 (gym) and 11:00 (auditorium). CCM also offers a casual service Saturday nights at 5. Wonderful and exciting children's programs are offered during all worship times.
