"Director's Blah Blah Blog" No April Fools jokes here. We are headed into a very long anticipated Spring. We'll soon be seeing that bright yellow circle surrounded by, if I remember correctly, blue skies. Don't get caught outside just yet without the proper rain gear. As I look out today and see those clear wet objects falling that collect on the ground like pools, I remembered my umbrella is in the car. Stay dry and soon very soon we'll be complaining about "how hot it is".

Registration

  • It's not too late to register for Summer/Fall 2008-2009. If you have any outstanding paperwork or registration fees, please contact the office.
  • We need to know if your child is attending Western Row or Mason Heights. Please stop by the office or call.
  • Be looking for an orientation letter in the mail near the end of this month. Summer Parent Orientation will be Monday, May 19, at 6:15 in the gym.

Safety

  • Please, Please, Please do not drop your child off at the door. The weather is changing and it will be raining more often. However, you are still required to escort your child into the building and to their classroom.

General

  • Chapel is Thursday, April 24th at 4:45 in the basement. Please join us.

Upcoming Events

  • Christ's Church at Mason offers a variety of worship experiences on the weekends. Contemporary worship is offered Saturdays @5:00 pm and Sundays @9:30 am and 11:00 am. Blended worship is offered on Sunday @ 9:30 and Traditional worship is offered on Sundays @ 11:00. Wonderful and exciting children's programs are offered during all worship times, along with studies and choirs during the week. Questions? Call Jessica Lyon or Amanda Grella at 513-229-3200.

  • All 3rd grade students and their friends can join Miss Jessica for an afternoon at Krazy City. Go online to http://www.ccmason.org/ for more information.
  • Weekday Monthly Outreach is to "Pack the Pantry". We are helping PACK the shelves of the food pantry at the Christian Family Center in Hamilton. What a great opportunity to share the Good News of Jesus with families through this ministry.
  • Vacation Bible School, "God's Big Backyard", @ Christ's Church at Mason: Mark your calendars for an unforgettable week of fun from Monday, July 21 through Friday, July 25! Children ages 5 years (by 9/30/08) through 6th grade will enjoy worship, games, crafts and friends, every day from 9:00 am - 12:00 noon. The week ends with a HUGE Sonfest event on Saturday, July 26, for the whole community! Watch for more information as summer draws near.
  • "Kings Dreams and Schemes" Spring Musical by the Children's Choirs at Christ's Church: Mark your calendar for Sunday evening, April 6 @ 6:00 pm. This fun musical shares the challenges and adventures that Daniel experienced! No charge, but you want to arrive early for a good seat! Don't miss it!
