"Director's Blah Blah Blog" This sums up our winter; doesn't it. I wish we could have just slept through the whole thing. Well with spring around the corner, let's wake up and enjoy March. Having Easter coming early this year we can get a head start on wearing those white shoes and carry our favorite springtime purse. Sorry guys, you're always stuck with that drab grey. Easter is also the celebration of our Savior's return. While we can never compare our giving to the amazing gift Jesus has given us, I encourage you and your family to participate in "One Act Of Kindness" this month in honor of this celebration. Happy Easter everyone!!!!
    Program News
    Registration
    • Our Summer and Fall programs are filling up. Remember....Your registration is complete when we receive your payment.
    • Summer and Fall Aftercare for 2nd grade are closed. You will be placed on a wait list at this time.

    Safety
    • Please do not drop off your child at the door and allow them to come upstairs on their own. We can get a false sense of security in a church setting. If you need to drop off at the door for weather purposes, have your child wait for you before coming upstairs. The procedure should always be: Walk your child inside the building, check them in, walk them to their room and make sure a teacher is aware of their attendance.
    • Please let the front desk know if your child is going to be absent on a scheduled day. Again, our sense of security can become softened by a close and small community. If your child does not get off the bus afterschool and we have no notification, we will make all attempts to contact you for the reason of their absense.
    • Reminder: Wheeled shoes are not allowed at the Landing.
    • Please do not park in front of the building. This is a fire lane.
    Accounting
    • Year-end statements are still available in the office.
    • Please join me in welcoming Kathy Locher our new Accounts Receivable Manager.
    • To avoid late payment fees, we must have your payment by 6:00pm Monday night, including Paypal payments. If you pay a large amount at a time, we will try to let you know of a low balance, however it is ultimately your responsibility to keep track of your balance.
    • We close at 6:00 pm. We will excuse major weather delays or an accident that you have been involed in. If you know you are going to be later than 6:00, you will need to contact your emergency contacts to make arrangements for pick up, otherwise you will be charged the late pickup fee of $20 for the first 10 minutes and $1 for every minute there after.
